About HMC Products
HMC Products began operation in 1979 machining and supplying repair parts for horizontal form fill seal machines to customers that required high quality parts quickly at low prices. To this day, HMC Products continues to fill their customers need with parts needed for same or next day delivery. Our modern 45,000 square foot facility in Rockford, IL houses 10 CNC machining centers with automatic tool changers, as well as many manual mills, lathes, planer mills, and a paint booth.We expanded in 1983 providing new HMC Pouchmasters and rebuilt Bartelt packagers to customers worldwide. Integration of various types of product fillers and downstream equipment such as cartoners and casepackers is also performed by experienced and qualified HMC staff.
Control options on our equipment vary by customer request but include PLC and touchscreen, PAC (programmable automation controller) with full servo motion control, complete PC control, or simple relay logic with PLS control. Control experience includes Allen Bradley, Emerson, B&R, GE Fanuc, Siemens, Modicon, Square D, Telemecanique, and others. Various packager models are always on the floor available for immediate delivery.
HMC also supplies conversions for HMC Pouchmasters and rebuilt Bartelts. These include zipper pouch, standup pouch, high speed funnel (IMF), on line or off lines slitters for 2 and 3-up operation, power web unwind, liquid filling, die cut and/or special shaped pouches, and many others. Servo conversion kits are also available including 3 axis (main drive, feed roll, bag clamp index), servo web edge guide, and servo auger.
